The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (played by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to head next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as important members in the influential clan could assist the group access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
